For the past six years, Hunter has been the proud owner of HMV Concrete, a high-end and 5-star rated concrete surfacing company known for its craftsmanship and attention to detail. With a background in concrete work, Hunter initially drove a concrete truck before deciding to focus on honing his skills and truly helping people through specialty concrete work.
While installing concrete decking around pools, Hunter developed a passion for the pool industry. This led him to build strong relationships with pool construction contractors, and over time, he expanded his business into a full backyard transformation company. Hunter’s vision was to create an effortless, all-inclusive backyard experience for homeowners—combining his expertise in concrete with a broader focus on pool and outdoor space transformations.
Hunter’s dedication to construction and fostering meaningful customer relationships is what sets him apart. He finds immense joy in seeing the transformation of a client's backyard, and his standards are influenced by his loving family, including his wife Jackie and son Hudson. They inspire him to treat every backyard project like it’s his own, ensuring the highest level of care and craftsmanship.
As a veteran-operated company, Hunter also takes pride in giving back to his community. He is a full-time coach at Tullahoma High School, where he mentors young athletes and enjoys being involved in the local community. In addition, Hunter is passionate about helping other veterans and supporting charitable causes, regularly donating to local initiatives.
Ethan Moss – Partner and Home Builder
Ethan is long-time partner with Hunter and seasoned custom home builder leading Moss Homes in Middle Tennessee. With a hands-on approach, Ethan collaborates closely with his team on every project, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. His expertise encompasses the construction of pool houses, gazebos, and comprehensive outdoor living and entertainment areas, all designed to create a complete backyard experience.

Zach Valdez – Project Manager
Zach is a dedicated project manager and Navy veteran with extensive experience in construction management. At 29, he has been integral to HMV and VM since their inception, focusing on day-to-day field operations and demonstrating a strong commitment to his professional roles. Serving as the primary liaison between clients and contractors, Zach ensures that client expectations are met through clear communication and regular job site visits.
In addition to his project management role, Zach is a full-time coach at Tullahoma High School Wrestling, He is a Navy veteran and a proud father of three—Nelson, Neal, and Layla—supported by his wife, Kasandra. Originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Zach's dedication to both his professional and personal commitments underscores his strong leadership and community involvement.
